Let's make a comic.

Jeff and I met in the basement of our local comic shop. I was an artist without much experience beyond a couple of self-published books. He showed up to the monthly creators workshop with a script for a first issue, pitched me the idea, and we began working on 'The Anywhere Man'.

One of the things I liked, beyond the basic concept, was that Jeff wanted to keep it short. Three issues was just the right length for a couple of amateurs. I saw it as a chance to broaden my horizons and collaborate with a writer. We both lucked out.

We really didn't know what we were going to do with it when it was done, but still had faith that 'Anywhere Man' would lead to good things. It has.

Signing with a small indie publisher (Underbelly Comics), running a successful Kickstarter campaign, and meeting new fans/creators has made for a great journey. We are better creators as a result of the ups and downs of making this book

Our Kickstarter campaign in the spring of 2016 has funded printing thanks to generous fans willing to take a chance on something new.
